TWO men were assaulted at a Boston nightclub on Sunday, one suffering what police have described as ‘nasty injuries’.
A police spokesman said the incidents occurred at about 1.40am when a 27-year-old man was assaulted and struck in the face with a glass.
He suffered injuries to his face.
He was taken to Pilgrim Hospital for treatment.
A 46-year-old man was also assaulted during the incident and was left with injuries to his hand.
It is believed the same offender was responsible for both assaults.
DC Rebekah Czajkowski of Boston CID said: “This was an extremely serious assault resulting in one of the victims receiving nasty injuries to his face inflicted by a glass.
“These injuries could potentially have been even worse and it is important that the offender is brought to justice.
“The assault occurred in a public place so there should potentially be a number of witnesses. We urge anyone who saw the assault or who has information relating to it to contact us”
