Police have confirmed a missing pensioner from Boston has been found safe.

They stated he was being checked over in hospital.

A spokesman thanked everyone for their help.

4.50pm: Police are seeking help to find a vulnerable 78-year-old man from Boston who went missing earlier today (Thursday).

Barry Wright was last seen at 2.15pm in the Richmond Close area of Boston.

A police spokesman said Mr Wright suffers from dementia and may appear confused. He is a short man of large build and is wearing navy cord trousers, a tan flying jacket and a grey checked trilby hat. He walks with a stick and wears glasses.

Anyone with information should call Lincolnshire Police urgently by calling 101.
