A 27-year-old man who died at an address in Boston on Friday has now been named by police as Jans Volodko, originally from Latvia.

Police confirmed earlier today that another man, Andrejs Kudrjavcevs (28) of Redbourne Terrace, Boston, has been charged with manslaughter after the death of Mr Volodko at the same address on Friday night.

A Lincolnshire Police confirmed that Mr Volodko’s relatives have been informed of his death.

SUNDAY 9.10AM: Man charged with manslaughter after body found at Boston property

A 28-year-old man has been charged with manslaughter after the death of another man at an address in Boston on Friday night.

Andrejs Kudrjavcevs, of Redbourne Terrace, Boston, has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before Lincoln District Magistrates Court tomorrow morning (Monday).

A post-mortem examination carried out on the dead man, also thought to have been in his 20s, revealed the cause of death as asphyxiation.

Police are trying to trace the dead man’s relatives and are not yet in a position to be able to name him.

SATURDAY 12.27PM: Man dies at Boston property after being found with ‘unexplained injuries’

A man has died after being found at a property in Boston with ‘unexplained injuries’ on Friday night.

Emergency services were called to Redbourne Terrace, off Spalding Road, at 9.27pm where a man, thought to be his 20s, was found with what police described as ‘unexplained injuries’.

He was treated by paramedics but was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.

A 27-year-old local man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently in police custody waiting to be interviewed.

Meanwhile, a scene guard is in place at the property while enquiries are being carried out.

Formal identification of the dead man and a post-mortem examination have yet to be carried out and it is not expected that he will be named today.
