Woman given police warning after being ‘aggressive’ towards BBC presenter Peter Levy

POLICE issued a warning to a woman being ‘aggressive and verbal’ towards BBC presenter Peter Levy in Boston last night.

A spokesman said a call about the incident was received from the manager of the White Hart at about 7.15pm.

They said the woman had left by the time police arrived at the hotel in High Street, but the 43-year-old, from Boston, who had been celebrating her birthday, was tracked down using CCTV.

Officers issued a warning about her conduct and helped her home.

They added Peter Levy was happy with the police action and ‘resumed whatever he was doing before’ without wanting to take further action.

The local star had presented a radio show and Look North live from the Assembly Rooms during the day.

We had caught up with Peter Levy earlier in the day and interviewed him. Check our video here.
