A cyclist has been ‘seriously injured’ following a hit-and-run last night (Tuesday).
A police spokesman said the 66-year-old local woman was collided with at about 4.30pm on Tattershall Road.
She suffered a serious head injury and was taken to Boston Pilgrim Hospital.
She was later transferred to the Queens Medical Centre, in Nottingham.
The driver did not stop at the scene and extensive enquiries are underway to trace the vehicle.
The spokesman said the vehicle involved in the collision is described as a silver saloon with dark tinted windows.
