Bomb disposal services have been called after a ‘relic’ was found in a Boston garage.

Police were called to a property on Meridian Road at about 12pm.

It is believed to be a Second World War device.

The Explosive Ordinance Disposal Regiment in Didcot have then notified. The decision was later taken to move the device to a remote location on Church Green Road.

A police spokesman said this decision means they don’t have to evacuate local residents or close too many roads.
