Don’t be ‘rubbish’ for the jubilee – put your bin out on the right day!

THE Queen’s Diamond Jubilee is nearly upon us, and that means a long four-day weekend for everybody - including Boston Borough Council’s bin men.

Because of that, it means that residents in the borough will see the collection days for their bins shifted to later or earlier than usual.

Eighty per cent of the borough’s bins will be collected just one day later than normal, but here is the council’s jubilee schedule to make sure you get your rubbish is out on the right day.

Bins collected on Monday, June 4, will be collected on Saturday, June 2. Those due to be collected on Tuesday, June 5, Wednesday, June, 6, Thursday, June 7, and Friday, June 8, will be collected one day later.
