SNOWDROP Sunday is coming to Skirbeck St Nicholas’ Church this weekend.

The popular annual event has been held at the town’s oldest church for the last 11 years.

Rector Father Paul Noble said: “This promises to be a magical day with a fun mystery quiz trail for people to follow. There are also maps and history on the folklore surrounding our earliest spring flower.”

The day, which runs from noon-4pm, will also feature recitals by church organists.

In the adjacent community hall there will be light lunches, cream teas and other refreshments.

Visitors can have a go at the tombola and raffle and browse various stalls. There are ample parking spaces in the hall’s car park and alongside the church.

All proceeds from the event go towards the church repairs.
