Four Boston-area schools will be affected by the planned teachers’ strike tomorrow (Wednesday).

Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) has confirmed the following schools will be affected:

Gosberton Primary School will be closed outright tomorrow and two classes will be off at St Thomas Primary School, Boston.

Some 221 students at Thomas Cowley High School in Donington have been asked to ‘stay away due to unavailability of cover’ for staff, while Haven High Technology School in Boston will only be open to years 10 and above.

The National Union of Teachers (NUT) has called for the UK-wide walkout over a Government dispute about education reforms and pay.
