Pupils and teachers at Stickney’s William Lovell CofE Academy have been congratulated for their efforts in light of today’s (Thursday, August 21’s) GCSE results.

Principal Lee Wright said: “All at William Lovell CofE Academy should like to congratulate our class of 2014 for their GCSE results. Our pupils and teachers have worked very hard and this has been reflected in their results. We are especially pleased that many pupils have achieved A*-B across several subjects.”

The school made special mention of Liam Moses who is leaving with nine A*-A grades, including English and maths, and Pierce Morris, who is leaving us with eight A*-A grades.

Mr Wright added: “However, not all young people are academic and we are equally as proud of those who strive to achieve their best, although that may not equate to high academic grades.”
