League tables showing the performance of pupils studying GCSEs and equivalent qualifications have been published.
The figures show the proportion on pupils achieving at least five A*-C grades at GCSE or equivalent, including English and maths, varies from 99 per cent to 29 per cent in Boston-area schools.
The data also shows that all but two of the area’s schools recorded a decline in the measure from the previous year.
The proportions for Boston schools are given below, with the previous year’s figure in brackets:
Boston Grammar School - 88 per cent (96 per cent)
Boston High School - 99 per cent (100 per cent)
The Giles Academy - 43 per cent (59 per cent)
Haven High Academy - 31 per cent (39 per cent)
Middlecott School - 38 per cent (38 per cent)
The Thomas Cowley High School - 57 per cent (52 per cent)
William Lovell CofE School - 29 per cent (67 per cent)
The published data goes far beyond this traditional measure, however.
