The sixth form choir from Boston’s Haven High Academy has won through to a prestigious national music festival this summer.
n the first week of July, the pupils will join young musicians from across the UK for the annual Music for Youth National Festival in Birmingham.
Lincolnshire Music Service hosted a regional event at Haven High in March and the school’s newly-formed sixth form choir (pictured) was selected with its impressive debut performance.
The choir now look forward to competing for a chance to perform in Music For Youth School’s Prom at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Choir leader Vanessa Adams said: “I am very lucky to work with such dedicated and enthusiastic young people and as an academy, we are extremely proud of them.”
