Film makers hope to snap up Jim Broadbent for big screen version of Boston pupil’s script

A Boston High School pupil’s script has been picked up by the British Film Institute’s National Film Academy.

Anna Slevin saw her play performed at the National Theatre last year and now the BFI wants to turn another of her scripts in to a film – and they are even hoping to persuade British actor Jim Broadbent to star in it.

Anna is currently typing up her script onto professional software before meeting the film makers.

She was up against many aspiring film makers, including undergraduates, so this makes Anna’s even more of an achievement.
