AN ARTISTIC youngster from Friskney All Saints Primary School has won a cycle safety competition organised by local police.

Bethany Saunders, 10, took part in the competition between local schools

to design a poster aimed at raising awareness of the importance of cycle safety.

Beat manager, Pc Matt Dickinson, said: “The judges chose Bethany’s entry as it demonstrated a clear understanding of safety issues and it was very artistic in its design. She had evidently put a great deal of time and effort into her poster.”

Bethany was awarded a certificate and gift vouchers.
