Grit and determination saw Giles Academy pupils complete an epic 230-mile pedal car ride in less than half the expected time.
The selected team of sixth form students pedalled from Flint in Wales to finish Skegness - raising thousands for Macmillan.
Despite planning to complete the coast-to-coast route in about 48 hours, students hit the finish line in just 18 hours 57 minutes.
They did all this to raise money for the charity in respect for their ‘inspirational’ teacher Ben Vidler who is seriously ill with cancer.
