STUDENTS from Giles Academy, Old Leake, have now picked up their A-level and B-tech results.
More than half of the results are distinction grades and 60 per cent of students achieved a distinction in one or more of their courses.
Deputy headteacher Sue Barnicoat said: “It is brilliant that another 15 students have three Distinction grades!
“We are very pleased with these results which have been achieved by a lot of hard work from the students throughout their courses.
“We would like to congratulate all our students and wish them good luck for their futures, whether they are going to university or hopefully into employment.”
Outstanding students included headboy Sam Stanhope, who gained four distinctions in media and performing arts,
He will be going on to do film and cinema technology in creative writing at Winchester University.
Georgia Pinchbeck, who plans to go straight into work got five distinctions in business and performing arts.
She said: “I’m more of a hands-on person and like to work.”
Headgirl Sophie Callow gained three distinctions in her B-tech and a C in her A-level Art and Design.
She plans to do study fashion at Lincoln University and her ultimate goal is to set up her own business.
