Giles Academy students have continued to improve upon the success of the school’s sixth form education
An analysis of overall exam performance produced an average point score per student of 740 points (up from 717 last year) and an average individual entry score of 229. This was a big increase from 217 in 2013.
Head teacher Chris Walls said: “2014 saw a continuing improvement in A’-level and Vocational qualifications at Giles Academy.
“Staff can be proud of the upward trend evidenced across all subjects and there were some outstanding individual performances.”
