Boston College’s eighth annual sports competition The Games - has attracted sponsorship from sportswear giant Nike. Not only that, but the Premier League Trophy will also be in attendance this year.
Pupils from 12 different secondary schools in Lincolnshire will be competing in a variety of different sporting themed activities at this years’ ‘The Games’ final.
Heats that have been running since December last year took place to establish the top two boys and two girls from each school. These four students will then take part in the Grand Final held at Peter Paine Performance Centre, Boston, on Thursday, April 3, battling it out for individual prizes, as well as the team trophy for their school, which for the past three years has been held by Boston High School.
Boston United players and management will be attending to show their support. As a way of Barclays saying thank you to the Peter Paine Performance Centre for being a ‘Barclays Spaces for Sports’, the Premier League Trophy will be visiting the centre on the day, from 1.30– 3.30pm.
Students will be able to take a ‘selfie’ with it.
