CHILDREN from Frithville Primary School time had a bon apetite when they took a trip to Boston College to learn more about France.

Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 were prepared a french breakfast by the college’s catering students consisting of hot chocolate and warm croissants.

Teacher Fern Parsons, who arranged the visit with Sarah Milburn, said: “The students were fantastic with our pupils. They were thoughtful, helpful, enthusiastic and keen to share their skills with the children.”

The children then looked around the Catering department kitchens and saw how bread rolls and croissants were made.
