The school council at Gipsey Bridge Academy has given pupils a boost by donating £550 towards improving IT provision at the school.

The money was raised through a toy sale organised by the school council and children making and selling sweets, and generous donations from the audience at the school’s Christmas performance helped to boost the amount too.
