AN IMPRESSIVE sight was created at Thomas Cowley High School in Donington when pupils and staff were arranged into the five Olympic rings.

Pupils were encouraged to dress in their house colours, with the staff in black, to celebrate the upcoming London Olympics.

The activity formed part of their annual Jump Rope for Heart sponsored skipping event, now in its 25th year.

This year’s efforts saw more than £6,000 raised for The British Heart Foundation.
