Former pupils of Kitwood Boys and Girls schools who are coming up to or have just celebrated their 50th birthday are invited to a party.

A collective 50th birthday reunion bash for the schools’ ex-students is being held at Boston United’s Pilgrim Lounge on Saturday (January 26) from 7.30pm.

The evening offers former pupils the chance to catch up with old school friends as well as some of their former teachers.

Organisers say Mr Sykes, Mr Woodcock, Mr Despicht, Mr Tuplin and Mr Hamshaw are all due to be in attendance for the reunion party.

Anyone with photos of their Kitwood school days is also urged to take them along to Chris Cook Print in Main Ridge East and he will scan them in and display them on the night.
