TWO Haven High Technology College teachers have been on a study visit to Northern Poland.
The three-day visit by Ajoke Ayonrinde and Paulina Barc-Jarnalo to Elblag, Gdansk and Piaski included taking part in lessons and tours around the towns and ports.
It was part of the Comenius Regio Partnership programme, an international education programme for schools, colleges and local authorities supported in the UK by the British Council.
The pair spent a day at an environmental education centre by the Baltic Sea, joining three members of the Lincolnshire RSPB examining the natural wildlife of the Vistula Lagoon.
The study visit was part of the Blue and Green: Education Outside the Classroom project promoting new ways of teaching and learning about environment and comparing wildlife of the Polish Vistula Lagoon and the Freiston Shore Reserve.
