Entrants limber up for Sunday’s Seabank Marathon

THE last of the entry forms are in and participants are now limbering up for Sunday’s 34th annual Seabank Marathon.

The Standard will be out on the day covering the event which sees people running, jogging or walking from Skegness to Boston.

Boston and District Athletics Club (BADAC) is staging this year’s event with the help of The Standard after it was unexpectedly cancelled earlier in March.

Peter Arnott, BADAC development officer, said: “The Seabank Marathon is a great opportunity to raise money for a charity of your choice and I wish all our participants the best of luck for the day.”

The trail race begins at 9am at South Parade car park, Skegness, and the fundraising walkers/joggers event at 9.15am.

The Fishtoft mini-marathon will set off at 11am from the Fishtoft Scout Hut.
