VISITORS to RSPB Frampton Marsh have lots to ‘tweet’ about next month with the arrival of flocks of baby birds.

A special event is being held on Sunday, June 5, to celebrate the new feathered arrivals.

This includes a walk with the reserve’s expert guides to look at the newest arrivals, and a variety of family activities.

There will be lots of fluffy, baby birds for visitors to see, including avocets, lapwings, coots and ducklings.

RSPB visitor services trainee, Jasmine Atkinson, said: “This is an exciting time to visit, cute little chicks can be seen running around while their parents frantically try to keep them out of danger.”

There will also be lots of other things going on at the reserve after the walk, including craft activities and badge making,

The walk runs from 11am-1pm with the family activities from 11am-4pm.

Booking is essential for the walk, but not the craft activities.

Call 01205 724678 to book.

Price: Adults £4, children £2, RSPB members half price. Craft activities are free, but donations will be gratefully received.
