‘Excellent’ coffee morning for charity

A coffee morning at the grandest house in Boston has raised £408 for charity. Fydell House, on South Street, had its Macmillan Coffee Morning on Wednesday.

More than 40 people attended the event, organised by Monica Brinkley and daughter Susan Clarke. at any one time.

Fydell House coordinator James Forinton hailed it as ‘absolutely excellent’. He said: “It was a huge success and well attended. The cakes were going like the proverbial hot cakes.”
