Family fun aplenty will be on offer this Sunday, as Boston’s annual Community Showcase event returns.

The event takes place in Central Park from 10am until 4pm, with free entry and a host of activities on offer.

Visitors can experience a Spider Mountain climbing wall featuring maze and slide, live bands, dancers, martial arts displays and a healthy living area.

Also on offer will be fun rides, a ‘smoothie bike’, superb value hot dogs and burgers from North Sea Camp – and information from more than 130 stalls hosted by local community and voluntary groups.

One of the Showcase’s organisers, Boston Mayflower’s Nathan Black, said: “We hope this year’s Showcase has something for everyone.

“Children can enjoy the magic of magician Burger Bill, have a go on one of the bouncy castles, and learn some new dance moves.

“Families can watch some quality local bands performing various genres of live music on the stage throughout the day.

All this and more await visitors on Sunday. There really will be something for everyone, whatever their age.

“Take the family along, learn more about the groups which are working hard for the people in our community - and have a great value day out.”

This year marks the eighth year of Showcase, which was originally conceived by Boston Mayflower, Lincolnshire CVS and Boston Borough Council.
