A family-run charity night in Stickney attracted about 120 people to the village Community Centre on Saturday.
The Pink Party was held to raise money for Breast Cancer Research and featured visitors in pink fancy dress, men having their legs and chests waxed for charity and a raffle and tombola.
So far £1,690 has been raised, but more money is still due to come in.
Sue Wylka organised the event with help from her family, including husband Baz, daughters Lisa and Laura, son William and grandchildren Courtney and Millie.
“I had breast cancer myself and we just felt as a family that as I had been treated we wanted to give something back,” said Sue. “The Pink Party was a great night, and we hope to do it again next year.”
