Fire at home in New York

AN unattended fire led to a blaze at a home in New York earlier today.

The embers from the open fire ignited a bookcase in the living room, leaving it severely damaged by flames and smoke. The rest of the house was also smoke damaged.

Nobody was hurt in the blaze, which took place around 11.40am at the house on Langrick Road.

Two fire engines from Boston and one from Woodhall Spa went out to the fire.
