The Butterfly Hospice is to receive a cash boost thanks to the efforts of a mother-of-two who ran her first marathon recently.

Paula Macpherson completed the Chesterfield Marathon (4hrs 59mins) in memory of her mother Mandy Temple, of Friskney, who died of ovarian cancer two years ago. She said: “The course was quite challenging with several hills to climb but I was spurred on by my sponsorship which currently stands at over £1,100, which I’m thrilled with.”
