WE ARE well on the way to identifying all of the people featured in the paper in connection with our name and shame litter campaign.
Our readers have helped us to track down the names and addresses of five of the seven men who were caught on CCTV in relation to six instances of littering and one instance of dog fouling in and around the town.
They were picked up by Boston Borough Council cameras and published in the paper as part of a joint campaign with the Standard to catch and bring to justice those who are ruining the appearance of our town by dropping rubbish and letting their dogs foul on our streets and green areas.
This is great for the first day of the campaign, but we still need people to come forward to help corroborate the information we have received so far and help us to identify the other two people.
Litter louts who are caught through the campaign can expect a £75 fine.
Anyone with information should contact Kath Mountain at the borough council on 01205 311112 or at firstname.lastname@example.org and give the names and addresses of the people who have been caught by the eagle-eyed CCTV cameras. Your details will be treated as confidential.
