Plans have been submitted to turn the offices above Caffè Nero in Boston into flats.

The application has been submitted by Dean Morley of Misura Architectural Design in Lincoln, on behalf of a Mr R. Soni, of Harrow, in Middlesex.

The plans, which are addressed as 12 Strait Bargate and 2 New Street, look to convert the current offices into five one-bedroom flats across the first, second and third floors of
the property.

According to the application, submitted to Boston Borough Council, the entrance will be via two existing accesses on New Street.

The application says there will be no noise from the commercial property because the floors will be insulated.

It is also thought any occupants will be at work during those hours.

The offices have reportedly stood vacant since 2010, when Caffè Nero recieved their current consent, according to the application.

The plans are not due for determination until November.
