A TEAM of 16 staff from Barclays Bank swapped suits for gardening gear when they teamed up with the Butterfly Hospice to volunteer at the hospice site in Rowan Way.

Barclays staff from across Lincolnshire and Peterborough helped out by tidying and clearing some of the grounds along with planting shrubs, donated by Barclays, in the hospice’s Peace Garden.

Butterfly hospice chief executive Judi Byrne said “Everyone was very friendly and worked extremely hard and we were delighted with the results of the day.”

She added: “We thank them wholeheartedly for their support.”
