Scarecrows in fancy dress and huge themed floral displays are on show as part of a church flower festival.
Visitors have been dropping into St Mary and the Holy Rood in Donington, St Peter and St Paul’s in Gosberton and St Mary’s in Sutterton to admire the sights.
With themes ranging from ‘India’ to the Owl and the Pussycat - and scarecrows dressed as cricketers, archers and bird-spotters - there are lots of beautiful and quirky sights to see.
The church festivals began on Saturday - with Donington finishing on Sunday, May 4, and the other two concluding Monday, May 5. The annual dates traditionally tied in with the Spalding Flower Parade - but they still went ahead despite the showpiece event not running.
