THE Boston Standard’s charity calendar is now on sale!

And it looks great. But you already knew that – because YOU took the pictures!

A while ago we asked readers to submit their best snaps of beautiful Boston so we could put them together in a fabulous calendar to support the Butterfly Hospice Trust.

And now the glossy A4 calendar is here, with £1 from the £3.99 cover price going to the charity.

The money will help the trust build and maintain a bed hospice, currently under construction behind the Pilgrim Hospital.

Standard editor Rebekah Gunn said: “We were thrilled by the pictures we received, showing just how beautiful Boston and the surrounding area really is – it is just a shame only 12 could make it into the calendar.

“We are extremely proud to be supporting the Butterfly Hospice Trust. It is a wonderful charity and wish the trust every success in the future.

“Now we just have to sell the calendars to raise as much money as we can for the charity. They would look great hanging in everyone’s homes and with Christmas on the way they would make a great gift.”

The charity calendar has been supported by Boston Borough Council and Oldrids, the latter of which provided a £50 voucher to the overall winner. The winning picture of Boston Stump at Christmas came from Keith Biggadyke.

The calendar is available from the Boston Standard offices, 5-6-Church Lane, Boston.
