STEP back in time with a new exhibition at Boston’s Guildhall from the end of the month.
The Hallaton Treasure, a collection of roman artifacts including more than 300 silver and gold coins, pottery, a parade helmet and some ‘mysterious finds’, will be on display at the historic building from Wednesday, June 29, until Saturday, August 6.
Iron Age woman Seren will also be telling visitors about the mysteries surrounding the formation of an Iron Age shrine and one of the most important Iron Age sites in Britain on Thursday, July 28.
Museum visitors will also have the chance to travel back to medieval times on Saturday, July 2, and again on Wednesday and Thursday, October 26 and 27, when the Knights of Skirbeck arrive.
Actors from the medieval re-enactment society will be there for full days showing off their medieval life style.
Opening times at the South Street venue are Wednesday-Saturday, 10.30am-3.30pm.
