HARRY Potter has visited Wrangle – but sadly only in the form of a lookalike scarecrow.

The character creation was one of the winning entries in the village’s Scarecrow Festival which drew in about 200 visitors on the Sunday. Others entries included the Wicked Witch of the West, Woody from Toy Story and Captain Hook

The event, which also featured a classic car display and craft fayre, raised £600 for Wrangle Parish Hall.
