Cyclists are being urged to put their pedal power to use to raise money for the Butterfly Hospice at its annual Bike Bike Ride this month.

There is still time to register for the event on Sunday, April 28, which sees participants ride 33 miles from Lincoln to Boston, or nine miles from Langrick to Boston.

The event has the support of Boston Town Football Club and involves several local organisations including the local police and Halfords.

Transport to Lincoln can be arranged for cyclists. Contact Davina Hellon on 01205 311222 for more details.

Halfords in Boston have offered all cyclists who are registered to take part a free assessment of their cycle before April 28. Halfords’ mechanics will give a detailed description of anything needing attention on the bike with a quote for repair if necessary.

Call Halfords on 01205 362110 and ask for Gareth or Adam to book a free slot.
