A BOSTON restaurant has been taking part in a new healthy eating pilot aiming to reduce salt, saturated fat and calories in Indian dishes.
The Star of India was one of five restaurants across the county taking part in the health by stealth pilot run by NHS Lincolnshire.
As part of it a local chef worked closely with the restaurants to make changes to their menu by offering an alternative healthier options.
The project was so successful it is now working with 20 more restaurants and was highly commended by judges in the Health Service Journal's (HSJ) Best Social Marketing Project Award category.
