Young people are being invited to get in the saddle as part of a children’s charity event to raise money for Pilgrim Hospital’s children’s ward this week.

Savannah Equestrian Centre, in Boston, is holding a horse-riding charity event on Sunday where children will be able to take part in horse-riding and grooming as well as gymkhana games.

These events will be followed by a light lunch and a raffle to win a round of golf for two people at the Boston Golf Club and other prizes.

Organiser of the event and junior doctor at Pilgrim Hospital Omar Nasher said: “All the donations we receive make such a huge difference to the care we can provide and help to improve the overall hospital experience of the children we see.”

Children who take part in the day will be presented with a thank you certificate.

The event will take place between 10am and 4pm.

Tickets cost £12 on the day or £10 in advance.
