LINks can improve your care services

A BOSTON stroke sufferer is urging people who care about improving health and care services to join a special group.

Boston Stroke Support Group’s chairman Joe Nash, of Punchbowl Lane, whose personal story The Standard featured back in February, is urging carers or those needing care to join their Local Involvement Network (LINks).

He said: “Their aim is to inform all of us and help communities to influence the care that we receive. LINk members are all volunteers with no financial axe to grind just a wish to improve vital services.”
