A FREE event for young people to talk about mental health problems is coming to Boston on Friday evening.
‘Mad and Proud’ – part of a new nationwide campaign from the mental health anti-stigma programme Time to Change – will feature live music and a charity raffle.
Jon Carroll from Boston STEP Team, a specialist mental health service with Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation NHS Trust, said: “The Mad and Proud event gives people a chance to find out more about mental health by talking to others with personal experience.”
He added: “We want to use this as an effective way of breaking down stigma and promoting an inclusive community.”
The event runs from 7pm until late at the Coach and Horses, Main Ridge, Boston.
