BOSTON’S Pilgrim Hospital has made improvements to its quality of care, according to a recent report.
A Care Quality Commission (CQC) investigation has found ‘positive developments’ at Pilgrim - which is run by the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust.
However, the report says further progress is still needed ‘to protect patients from the risk of poor care’.
Back in June, The Standard reported on the CQC’s investigation following what it described as ‘a series of serious incidents’ and two unannounced inspections of Pilgrim Hospital - which ‘identified concerns’.
