A horse which was loose on the A52 this afternoon (Monday) has been returned to its owner by police.
A force spokesman said officers were called to the scene at Haltoft, near Fishtoft, at 3pm, where a member of the public had hold of the horse.
They said two cars had stopped to help, but didn’t know who the owner was and so stayed with the horse until help arrived.
They added an officer who arrived on the scene took the horse to its rightful owner and no-one was hurt.
“The horse is safe and back where it should be,” they said.
