Hundreds attend summer dog show with more than £2,000 raised for Jerry Green Dogs

About 300 people visited Jerry Green Dog Rescue’s summer show this year – raising in the region of £2,100 for the centre.

Visitors and their canine friends were able to take part in a dog show with a variety of classic and novelty dog classes, including ‘best legs’.

The centre’s supervisor Jenny John said: “It was one of our more successful years with a much higher turnout than expected.”

There were several stalls to browse, doggie portraits, children’s entertainment, a raffle sponsored by Marks & Spencer, and a board displaying all the dogs needing homes.
