AN INQUEST into the deaths of five men who died in an explosion at a Boston industrial estate has been set for later this month.
Lithuanian nationals Erlandas Duzinskas, 28, Vaidas Krupenkinas, 39, Laimutis Simkus, 32, Ovidijus Mejeris, 26, and Ricardas Gecas, 24, died last July following the blast in a unit on Broadfield Lane Industrial Estate where counterfeit alcohol was being produced.
A sixth man, who is also a Lithuanian national, suffered severe burns in the explosion and is now recovering following a long period in Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
All the men were from the Peterborough area.
A coroner will lead the inquest into their deaths at Spalding Magistrates Court on May 25.
