Kirton past and present at village day

SEE the history of Kirton before your very eyes on Sunday when the village presents its Past and Present Day.

Including a five-mile parade around the village, the day will start at around noon be opened by Tony Gray of LIVES.

It will feature special guests such as motorcyclist Ben Wilson and the present Mayor of Boston Coun Colin Brotherton and Mayoress Kate Wainwright.

There will also be a raffle, a stall and a display of Kirton’s history in the town hall as well as a number of tractors, motorbikes and classic cars.

Entry to the day is free, with any donations going to the church funds.
