Buses are a problem in Market Place revamp

IN response to the council meeting of September 17 regarding the revamp of the Market Place, issues raised included moving the road either one side or the other, another was about buses going through the precinct.

If buses were re-routed as one gentleman suggested there would be no need to move the road.

This would put an end to buses going through the precinct. People running this meeting said buses do not come into the refurbishment, but by removing the buses allows better refurbishment to be done.

Pictures shown on the screen of other town centure landscapes had no buses going through them.

The comment coming back about buses was how would the public get to Asda to do their shopping? But Asda, Tesco and Iceland deliver shopping to your door. As I live in Fishtoft there are no Into Town buses where I live and being a 73-year-old I have the options of using my own car or taxi or get my shopping delivered by the above supermarkets.
