Concentrating on the future at PRSA

Martin Robbins (Your Say, August 12) is correct that the capital costs of the PRSA were greater than planned but I do not intend to answer his questions because as a recent trustee I am concentrating on the present and the future.

I cannot change the past.

Whatever errors, if any, where made previously the PRSA is now wood, bricks and mortar, in other words a reality and it is time Mr Robbins moved on.

The agenda now is to maximise the benefits to the community and operate within the subsidy agreed with the council.

The statement by myself and Coun Dungworth was not misleading as it referred to a previous article in the Standard on this year's performance that at the half year stage usage is up on target and the

BSI is within budget.

The reference to "leaps and bounds" was an addition by the Standard to the parts of our press release that they chose to use.
