Grandma Margaret Jessop is a true inspiration to people, she is so determined no matter what life throws at her and is dedicated to fundraising for the Dunkirk Veterans for over 27 years in the nursing homes, schools, private parties, hospitals, craft fayres, salvation army groups and other clubs locally and nationally communities from Boston to The Great Dorset Steam Rally including Cleethorpes and Nottingham.

The British Empire Medal is a well deserved merit for the charity work both my Grandma and her supportive husband Sam share with the public and it is a fantastic achievement to be recognised for their hard work and efforts.

The medal is a lovely surprise, myself and all the family are very proud of this worthy honour.
